Hello!!! As you can see by the site title, my name is David Rodriguez. I'm excited to be a member of the amazing staff here at Williams High School. This will officially be my 14th year in education, starting my 5th year here at Williams, and 9 in Garland ISD. I was born in Corpus Christi and raised in Brownsville, TX, a nice little 8-hour drive from the metroplex. While I miss the beaches located along the Gulf of Mexico, the metroplex has offered so many opportunities for both professional and personal growth. My wife also works in education for Richardson ISD, and our boys both attend Plano Schools. Orion will be starting his 5th-grade year, and Marlow will be moving up to 1st-grade. I majored in History with a minor in Political Science at the University of Texas at Brownsville and earned my teaching certificate shortly after. A short stint in the non-profit world rekindled my goal of being a teacher and I've been doing so ever since.
